Job Description:
The Enterprise Application Support team is responsible for ensuring that a critical set of applications, used by the MassMutual Enterprise, are monitored and maintained for optimal performance. The Messaging and Collaboration Production team focuses on more than 15 essential Field and Home office collaboration and employee productivity technologies. Candidates will assist with design, deployment, support, projects delivery for O365 product suite, as well as Zoom, Slack, Google Suite, Proofpoint and 17a-4 technologies. Other tasks include benchmark testing, debugging, and documentation of the technology suite and its eco-system.
This Messaging and Compliance Specialist role must be skilled at working across IT Operations, Enterprise Cyber Security, Compliance, development partners, and other business partners across the company. The Messaging and Compliance Specialist has sound technical ability that enables the fulfillment of common configuration maintenance tasks. The candidate must be self-sufficient and able to operate with minimal supervision and expected to work on own most of time. The Messaging and Compliance Specialist is responsible for performing Level 3 and Level 4 tasks related to Data Protection, and Cyber Security operational initiatives/enhancements/projects for the email, collaboration, meetings, chat, archive and supervision areas. These activities include, but are not limited to Incident Management oversight, project delivery and transition, vendor operational oversight, environmental upgrade planning, collaboration with solutions engineers and architecture on the overall strategy and technology roadmap for the eco-system.
Responsibilities:
- Consults on level 3/4 incident management resolution
- Contributes to knowledge base data for resolved incidents and requests
- Reports and or fixes inconsistencies with procedures
- Demonstrates broad knowledge of infrastructure system software
- Implements and maintains infrastructure solutions
- Partner with Cyber Security / Data Protection team to:
- Mitigate potential threats of data compromise through the deployment and engineering support of tools for: Encryption & Key Management, Data De-identification, Data Discovery, Classification and persistent Tagging and Labelling
- Support current and future data protection technologies, while working with our internal customers to enhance the protection capabilities of those tools
- Implement and support Data Protection Infrastructure (including installation, configuration, upgrade, patching, and maintenance & monitoring)
- Assist with design, configuration, performance testing, debugging, and documentation of infrastructure Email Eco System and integrated applications - Exchange 2016, O365, G Suite, Proofpoint, HP Archive, etc.
- Handles projects or work with defined scope in own discipline and typically has a short-term focus
- Works with guidance on small-scale team/unit projects
- Solves problems in own specialty area
- Makes worthwhile improvements to existing programs, and procedures
- Makes practical suggestions for improving work processes in own area
- Works for consensus and contributes to achievement of work group goals
- Contribute to annual budget planning process
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience supporting technologies such as Proofpoint Secure Email Gateway, Proofpoint/Micro Focus Archive and Supervision, Microsoft E5 Compliance Exchange and O365, Slack, Zoom Google Suite.
- Experience with Data Protection or content archival technology
- Experience supporting across a complex enterprise
- Prior production support experience
- Education – Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
- Experience with content archive and supervision technology
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment and on multiple assignments at once
- Experience functioning & executing work in a fast-paced iterative environment such as Agile
