The Opportunity:
As the Chief Growth Officer (CGO) of MassMutual Federal Credit Union (MMFCU), you will be a valued member of a supportive, diverse, and skilled team. All MMFCU team members are committed to delivering a consistent and memorable experience to our members and potential members. The CGO is a strategic, growth-oriented executive responsible for leading the organization’s marketing, cross sell initiatives, communications, and digital engagement functions. This role is central to achieving annual organic membership growth and driving product and service adoption. This position will be a key member of the Executive Team, contributing to enterprise-wide strategy and decision-making. This leader must bring a retail mindset, a deep understanding of financial ROI, and the ability to translate marketing into measurable business growth. The role demands a balance of creative storytelling and analytical acumen, with a focus on segmented marketing strategies, competitive differentiation, and digital transformation.
This role is for a visionary leader who understands how to ask for business, sell the client’s value, and lead change in a competitive financial landscape. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver tangible outcomes in branch deposit growth, market expansion, digital member acquisition, and product innovation within the first 12-24 months.
The Team:
This team is made up of a Data Analyst and a Marketing Assistant. Reporting directly to the President and CEO, the team is expected to work cross-functionally and collaboratively with other business units within the organization and adhere to the corporate values of the credit union.
The Impact:
The following duties for this position are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may berequiredand assigned:
Serve as a thought partner to the CEO and fellow executives, contributing to the Credit Union’s broader business models.
Develop and execute marketing strategies that attract lifelong members,leveragingdata, behavioral insights, and market intelligence to penetrate new and existing markets.
Collaborate across departments to identify, price, and launch competitive financial products that meet evolving member needs, especially among younger generations.
Spearhead digital marketing evolution, including automation, personalization, and omnichannel engagement.
Elevate the Credit Union’s visibility by telling compelling stories about its impact, innovation, and member-first philosophy—beyond the traditional credit union narrative.
Assess and evolve the marketing team’s structure, talent, and capabilities to align with the Credit Union’s strategic objectives and growth ambitions.
Lead, administer, and analyze Net Promoter Score (NPS), Member Satisfaction Score (MSS), and Member Experience Score (MES) surveys, ensuringaccurateand actionable insights.Identifytrends, measure engagement, and provide regular reports to executive leadership and the Board, outlining key findings, opportunities for improvement, and strategic recommendations based on survey data.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor'sdegree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
10+years of progressive leadership experience in marketing, growth, or business strategy roles.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
Demonstrated success driving measurable, sustainable above market growth (e.g., membership, revenue, market share).
Demonstrated experience driving engaged organic membership
Deep understanding of marketing ROI, pricing, forecasting, and financial modeling.
Cross-functional leadership experience with marketing, product, digital, and/or retail operations.
Experience building or optimizing digital marketing infrastructure, including CRM, automation, and analytics tools.
Executive-level communication and storytelling ability across media channels.
Track record of high-performing team leadership, change management, and organizational design.
Experience collaborating with executive peers on enterprise-wide strategy.
