Communications Consultant Shared Services & Enablement: Operations Support, Readiness & Communications
Full-Time, Hybrid - Springfield
The Opportunity
Join our fast-paced, innovative, and collaborative Operations team as a Communications Consultant. In this role, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor, designing and delivering clear, impactful communications that drive engagement, accelerate change readiness, and amplify key messages across multiple channels. You’ll combine strategic consulting, content creation, and data-driven insights to help leaders make informed decisions and enhance the employee experience. Acting as a thought partner to business leaders, initiative owners, and field readiness partners, you’ll help shape communication strategies that improve adoption of key initiatives and strengthen the field/distribution experience—directly influencing operational excellence and business performance.
The Team
As the “voice” of Operations, the Communications team plays a pivotal role in designing and implementing strategic and tactical communications, content, and logistics across multiple mediums and product lines, serving high-impact clients and audiences. This team actively fosters partnerships with all levels of leadership, ensuring clarity and trust throughout all communications. Members of the Communications team are expected to demonstrate accountability, agility, inclusiveness, and business acumen, showing courage when navigating complex or challenging situations. We value individuals who exhibit a passion for continuous learning, practice resilience and agility, and demonstrate self-awareness in their approach to work.
The Impact
This role delivers strategic, high‑impact communications that align business priorities with clear, engaging messaging across the organization. It combines consultative partnership, strong content execution, and data‑driven channel management to ensure communications are effective, consistent, and future‑ready.
Key Responsibilities but not limited to:
Strategic Consulting: Partner with business and change leaders to align communications to organizational goals; develop plans and calendars for strategic initiatives and BAU work.
Content Development: Identify communication needs, conduct research, and create clear, high‑quality content across email, intranet, presentations, video, and FAQs—translating complex concepts for diverse audiences.
Channel Management: Manage and optimize communication channels using analytics to improve reach, engagement, and effectiveness.
Governance & Quality: Ensure all communications meet brand, tone, accessibility, and documentation standards.
Measurement & Improvement: Track KPIs (e.g., open rates, engagement, feedback) and continuously refine strategies based on data and insights.
Future‑Ready Capabilities: Leverage AI for efficiency and personalization; apply a data‑driven mindset; design communications for hybrid and global teams; identify and resolve workflow bottlenecks.
The Minimum Qualifications
Associate’s degree
5+ years of Communications, Marketing, Content, PR, Digital, or Branding field experience
The Ideal Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
Experience in drafting change management communications
Ability to use data/metrics to influence decisions
Results driven and detail oriented with strong problem solving and analytical skills
Superior written, verbal, listening and organizational skills
Desire to work as a team player and ability to contribute to a positive work environment.
Experience collaborating and influencing across multiple teams
Demonstrated innovation and decisiveness in fast paced environment.
