The Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced and ambitious Strategic Consultant to join our growing wealth management organization! The work will be fast-paced and innovative and will require marshaling resources across the organization. You will leverage your background and expertise to contribute to the growth of the Private Wealth Partners (“PWP”) organization. You’ll interface frequently with our broader Wealth Management organization and contribute to the long-term strategy and development of the PWP organization.

The Impact:
- Act as the business project owner of strategic initiatives within PWP. This includes ownership of items such as navigating internal business resources, building out the project team, and providing clear communication to stakeholders throughout the project.
- Handle complex long-term focused projects involving multiple disciplines or business units.
- Manage and help to prioritize projects across the PWP organization, including providing regular status and metric updates to the leadership team.
- Assists PWP leadership with ongoing implementation of our long-term strategy, by ensuring on-time delivery of key initiatives listed on the PWP roadmap; including ensuring the Wealth Management Projects Insights tracker and Wave are updated monthly.
- Drive continuous improvement and efficiencies by actively working with colleagues within the organization both formally and informally to identify and solve problems across PWP to enhance the client and advisor experiences.
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across MM Wealth Management, MMFA and MassMutual more broadly – including Compliance, Legal, Marketing, Product, Business Governance and WM Technology.
- Facilitate lessons learned for business team and retain information in a central location for future use.
- Assist with the ongoing development of the PWP Long-Term Business Strategy by completing market research, attending strategy meetings and providing thoughtful insight on the direction of PWP.
The Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 8+ years of wealth management or investment management.
- 2+ years of project management experience.
The Ideal Qualifications
- Experience with Investment Management and Trust Organizations.
- A proven track record of building and executing on long-term strategies and initiatives.
- The ability to balance multiple priorities across a wide variety of initiatives is important to ensure success.
