Job Description
The Opportunity
As the Lending Product Associate, you own execution driving lender onboarding, streamlined operations, and powering the growth of lending solutions across high-net-worth, business owner, and securities-backed lending channels. You are the engine behind scalable processes, seamless advisor experiences, and high-impact product delivery. This role demands precision, agility, and an ownership mindset that will drive product development and optimization to fuel advisor success, unlock client value, and accelerate firm growth.
The Team
The Lending and Banking Services team is focused on providing proactive advice and planning to help meet client needs by delivering strategic borrowing solutions allowing advisors to strengthen their client's overall wealth management strategy. As a member of the Wealth Management organization, you will join a team of passionate experts across multiple disciplines including Product, Financial Planning, Practice Management, Lending & Banking, Trust, Investments and Operations. Whether it’s advice on investment strategies, retirement planning, estate planning, lending and banking, or trust services, our goal is to provide innovative and effective solutions that positively impact advisors and clients. You will report to the Head of Lending and Banking Services and work with other product teams in the Wealth Management division in addition to partnering with vendors, banks, and enterprise partners supporting business owner products. The collaborative and dynamic team environment includes members with extensive background and experience in financial products and asset management.
The Impact
You will drive business growth, develop expertise and lead initiatives while working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve results and contribute to the organization’s success. In your position, you will help enhance MassMutual Wealth Management Lending offerings and play an integral role on teams driving high-impact initiatives with a high degree of visibility.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Lender Onboarding & Product Management
Lead onboarding for new referral lender relationships and own the process from documentation to due diligence to final approval.
Build and maintain advisor-ready resources, including product summaries, process guides, and operational toolkits.
Partner with Legal, Risk, Product, Technology and Operations to ensure every lender relationship has an efficient and successful launch by complying with regulatory requirements, internal controls and contractual obligations.
Drive product definition: Lead market research, scope features, and validate new product concepts through hands-on feasibility testing.
Create prototypes, map user flows, and collect direct feedback from advisors and internal stakeholders to refine product execution.
Operational Excellence & Process Leadership
Manage the operational backbone of the lending business: Keep product records, lender data, program statuses, and SLAs current and audit-ready.
Triage product and advisor support requests to solve directly or route with urgency to the right business partners.
Build and refine process maps and operating procedures that scale lending adoption and reduce friction.
Track, analyze, and interpret product usage data, pipeline metrics, and satisfaction scores. Turn insights into process improvements and growth opportunities.
Deliver clear, actionable reporting on onboarding progress, adoption trends, and operational performance to leadership.
Field & Partner Enablement
Equip the advisor network with accurate, timely materials that drive confidence in lending and deposits products by ensuring materials and training tools accurately reflect product changes and new implementations.
Monitor advisor usage patterns and lender feedback. Proactively collaborate with product owners to resolve issues and capture opportunities.
Orchestrate internal meetings, track deliverables, and drive accountability with cross-functional teams.
The Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
4+ years' experience in financial services in lending, product management, or vendor operations.
1+ years’ experience onboarding or documenting workflows and processes pertaining to vendor agreement.
1+ years of experience working with Microsoft Suite (Work, Excel, PowerPoint).
Due to the nature of this position, as part of our background check process, candidates must be able to pass a non-registered fingerprint background check to qualify as a fingerprinted person under FINRA.

Proven ability to organize complex workflows and execute against multiple priorities at speed.
Skilled communicator: clear, concise, and proactive in both written and verbal formats.
Sharp attention to detail with a mindset for scalability and operational precision.
Lending experience or familiarity with wealth management.
