Mutual Belonging
At MassMutual, our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) is a business imperative. We strive to create an environment that is equitable and inclusive for our employees, customers, business partners, and the communities that we serve. This enables us to attract and retain the talent we need to deliver on our purpose to help people secure their future and protect the ones they love. For more than fifteen years, we’ve been on a deliberate and focused journey to integrate DEI into all that we do.
How does MassMutual create a culture of belonging?
We work to cultivate an inclusive, flexible, and collaborative environment where all employees are seen, valued, and respected. Our culture is a key reason employees join and stay with MassMutual.

Business Resource Groups (BRGs)
MassMutual has long fostered a culture where our employees will be supported, valued, and celebrated for who they are. A big part of this is our BRGs — Business Resource Groups. At MassMutual we have eight BRGs who welcome members of different affinity groups and their allies.
Our BRGs are open to all employees; they offer a sense of community: mentoring resources, a safe space, a group of people at work who understand and support an important part of your lived experience.
We stand together in our commitment to being a diverse, equitable, and inclusive company.
