Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
Lead Voluntary & Executive Benefit sales results in 100 – 100,000 plus life space through leadership of Strategic Partnerships. Create strategies to maintain existing and develop new strategic partnership relationships, enabling Worksite to establish and grow business in new markets with new products. In this role you will be managing relationships with third party enrollment firms and other strategic partnerships/specialist brokers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely and effectively with large and complex, strategic partnerships to enhance and leverage all possible points of contact within the distribution partner group, to introduce and/or expand the Worksite product line.
Leveraging existing relationships, proactively seek out, identify and develop new distribution relationships and opportunities for new business in the Worksite arena.
Independently develop and execute clear and concise strategic business plans.
Hold internal partners accountable for driving revenue and reaching goals.
Manage and enhance existing relationships by extending the reach of all available Worksite products and services to grow the business.
• Manage new and existing strategic relationships including enhancing the knowledge of the division’s sales associates and establishing the levels of service, and support to the channel.
• Maintain communications, in person and virtually (in person visits, emails, telephone contact, faxes, etc), with existing and prospective relationships to educate, train and foster strong relationships and loyalty towards Worksite.
• Maintain effective flow of information and education with channel partner sales representatives.Act as the key participant and representative of Worksite at related national and regional sales meetings and seminars,
Work with Worksite and channel partner marketing executives to create and develop effective and partner-specific sales ideas and strategic initiatives, and work to support and extend the reach of all Worksite sales representatives.
• Continually identify distributors’ needs and coordinate efforts to satisfy those needs effectively across all product lines and points of service within Worksite.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
A strong and effective sales and relationship management individual having 10+ years of related experience.
Current relationship with Distributor contacts highly preferred.
A passion for the Voluntary Benefits space.
The ability and willingness to travel significantly.
Demonstrated experience in seeking out and developing new distribution relationships in the Worksite arena.
Possess a broad knowledge of Worksite, and other value added services.
Thorough knowledge and understanding of the entire sales process including: establishing contact, building the relationship, gaining access for the company’s disciplines through contractual relationships, determining costs analyses for expansion, maintaining and servicing the relationship, working towards product expansion within all relationships.
Polished sales and relationship building skills.
Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to influence decision makers and resolve complex deals.
Demonstrated track record of success in achieving sales targets.
Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
Customer focused mindset with a commitment to building long-term relationships with customers and partners.
The ability to communicate in a clear and effective manner. Excellent partnering skills.
Technologically astute.
College Degree preferred
Compensation: $130k - $160k + targeted sales incentive of 65-110% of base
